The multifunction display in the dash of my 2003 C240 stays on after the key is removed. Is this a malfunction or is there a way to program the display to turn off. This is new car for us and I don't recall this happening when we first drove the car. Thanks.

Come out to your garage in the middle of the night to verify it's still on.

Seems likely that if it NEVER goes off, you'd have a dead battery.

Ours stays on for a bit, too. It's always off later.
