r129 air con failure
1999 SL500, 108k miles.
The automatic climate control has ceased blowing cold; it otherwise works fine. The change has been sudden; only yesterday I remarked how cold it was. Now there is no cold air at all, no matter how I set the system. There are no permanent DTCs. The only intermittent DTCs are: 227: outside temperature indicator sensor (it seems to be working fine) 416: coolant circulation pump (M13) (this sounds like a possible trouble-maker) 417: automatic A/C monovalve (Y19) 419: electromagnetic clutch (A9k1) I will clear the intermittent DTCs but I don't expect it to make a difference. Help would be much appreciated, I'm going to the South of France in three weeks and need cold air to blow.

OK, since posting I've cleared the DTC memory and then operated the ACC, then run the DTC routine again. The only stored code is 416, coolant circulation pump. Where do I go from here?
Your help is gratefully appreciated.

I know this is obvious but don't forget to check fuses just in case! Have you checked the WIS for troubleshooting the pump?
