w210 to w124 steering wheel

I noticed that the early w210 cars have a similar steering wheel to late w124s... It seems the same, but smaller

I have the regular 1991 300e steering wheel, and I want a smaller wheel... Would a w210 steering wheel replace my w124 non sport wheel? and it is actually smaller...

Better question is probably whether airbag electronic circuitry is compatible.

I don't think the W210 version of the steering wheel is smaller. I'm pretty sure its the same size.

In 1991 or 1992 Mercedes went with the smaller steering wheel.

The way the airbag connects changed in 1994, and I believe it is the same through 1996 or 1997.

I don't think the swap will work your car.

alright.

So does that take me back to finding a SportLine wheel? Or is there anything else out there?

Yes, you can go with the Sportline wheel, but then you'll have to get the smaller airbag. Not cheap....
