Not to change the subject, but are any of those 1980s Mercedes that appeared on the 1980s (actually from 1978-1991) TV show "Dallas" still around out there?

Some that I remember are as follows:
1978-80 280SEL (green)
1981-83 380SEL (green)
1984-85 500SEL (green)
1983 380SEC (gray)
1984-85 500SEC (gray)
1986-88 560SEC (gray)
1978-85 380SL (different updated years) (red)
1980-82 300TD wagon (tan)
1990 560SL? (champagne)

I would say yes...it's about time!

Hmm....which MB should I drive this time? The ML, the old W124 sporting new rims...or my wife's latest CLK purchase?

Don't mean to hijack your thread, but you Dallas guys are invited to the Houston/DFW meet in Centerville in July. Here's the link to the thread.

I may drive down my aunts newly acquired 2006 S-Class LWB sedan, or at least her 1995 S500. If she would permit ( )

I will show to the Dallas get together as long as I'm not flying.
Lets settle on a date and place.

Could I beg that someone either email, or PM me about this. I rarely get a chance to mshop any more. So I will miss the notice if it is only in a thread.

A week night works better for me.

Hey guys,

Sorry I missed this thread. I've been traveling an awful lot, and haven't been able to check in on the forum much.

I'm back in Dallas in early June.

I could meet for dinner at 6:00 p.m. or later on Thursday or Friday June 8 or 9.

If this works, lemme know.

I got an email from Paul (Suginami) and we will do our regular annual dinner at Sonny Bryans Friday evening, June 9 at Sonny Bryans in the West End.

6:30PM, means that I or someone, will pick up Paul and try to be there by 6:30. If you are there at 6:30 and no one is there, just find the group and be patient as we all straggle in.

Come one, come all! If anyone wants to do another in addition to this, I'll do my best to make that one as well.

I don't know yet if I am going to get called up from the farm team for the Texas State Championships. They have been held in Austin the past couple years (and I've been called up for them the past couple years). This year they are in Ft Worth and all the team members will be arriving on or about 6/11. If the coach gives me the nod this year I'll let y'all know.

That would be funny to have to visit Texas to hook up with you, what with your home in Temecula about an hour's drive away.

I should be there. If it doesn't rain, I'll bring the CLK...

OK, got it on my calendar. Thought I was busy that evening, but just realized I am confused (as usual).

Ah, but your chances of seeing me in Texas are greater than your chances of seeing me in California, seeing as how I'm sill working in Michigan. I should know if I'm getting the nod sometime next week.
