I am thinking of replacing the rear subframe mounts on my 88 300E. How difficult of a job is this and do I need any special tools? Does the subframe have to be dropped down for this job?

Several special tools are required as there bushings are hydraulic and are damaged easily. Yes the subframe must be dropped to remove them.
