w126 Wipers Not Working
Hello-
Am having a problem with the wipers on a 1989 300se. Fuse is good - washer motor works - no wiper movement/motor not running. Can I get some help here on troubleshooting whether its the switch or the wiper motor. Glenn |

You may find the wiper motor connector at the firewall inboard of the brake booster. If you need a wiring diagram send pictures of your wife.

If you haven't already, change the fuse (not just check it). When mine quit, the fuse looked fine, but it had bad connections and high resistance. These OEM fuses are notorious for going bad over time. Some people replace them as preventive maintenance -- it's probably a good idea.
Your problem may very likey be more than just the fuse... but when it comes to troubleshooting, start with the simple stuff. Jeff Pierce
