Unhappy Rattling sound from under the engine PLEASE HELP.

Hi everyone, there is a rattling sound that started today and it's coming from under the engine. At the same time this started happening, my outside temperature display also went crazy and was showing over 60 degrees Celsius.
I need some diagnostics from you guys as Benz is not taking me in for service as they are booked for the next two weeks..! This means that I'll have to take it to
a regular mechanic, and those guys usually need to be told what to fix... rather then just give them the sympthoms. Your help is greatly appreciated!
