I have an aftermarket 600 ESP alarm system on my car. The alarm itself is mounted under the dash, and the speaker/horn is mounted under the hood next to the fuse compartment.
The problem is that it is muffled under there. The hood and insulation and everything else make it not very loud. With the hood open, the alarm roars. But I cannot find another location for it!! If anyone else has an aftermarket alarm on their C, or other model for that matter, please let me know where it is mounted. I probably need a space about 8 inches cubed to fit it... WHERE THOUGH? Thanks in advance!
