Help needed with lumpy running hot and cold

Hopefully some one can help me on this.

I had a problem on my CLK 230K, the engine light came on so I took it to the dealer in Reading, they said it was the oil separator that had cracked and leaked oil down the piping leading to the intercooler and out of it, then pass some valves, and in to some other parts that they showed me.

They quoted 900+VAT for labour and £175 + VAT for parts, totalling something like £1400 inc VAT, I told them I'd do the work my self and clean the mass air flow sensor rather than replace it as they were asking £200 or so.

I did all the work a few days ago and all went well so I took it back to get the engine light turned off, but I still get lumpy running at idle weather the car is hot or cold, I thought all this work would have fixed that as well but it didn't.

Can any one suggest what it may be thats causing me a problem, injectors? mass air flow sensor still faulty? reset ECU?

Thanks for your time.

Stewart
