I know, I know...it is normal when it is cold...live with it. Well, I have done a lot of research on the web to understand the cold shifting nature of the 190E 2.6. I have come to the conclusion that yes mine does exhibit some of the normal patterns. However, It also has some typical sysmptoms that can be remedied...I need to know how to replace the vacuum modulator. I have a new one, the old one was leaking. How do I put this think in with out messing the trans up. It came with a warning pamphlet about how I should adjust it before driving...but doesn't explain how to adjust it. I need the 4 year old explaination...I am good with repair, bad with transmissions.

help a first timer here.
