My 99 E300 has intermittent blower malfunctions where occasionally the interior fan does not come on. Digital display goes to max and then cycles down pending exterior temp. After sitting a few hours is usually back to normal on restart. Has occured summer and winter. AC and heat work fine at all vents; intermittently there is no fan to push air out.

Climate control panel codes are:
eb1234
eb1459
ebFF (finished?)

Doing the vent test I get #1-15 and can then toggle low and hi for each; fan never changes speed (was tested while in a malfunction mode) but I can hear the vents opening and shutting.

Can someone tell me what the error codes indicate?

the the first 4 values were moving targets, were dropping a point or two as i was copying.
