How do I remove the steering column switch from a 1995 C280? I have a new one and want to replace it. Is it similar to that of a 1999 S420, looks exactly the same... Thanks.

There are quite a few switches on these. You probably will have to take off the air bag, steering wheel and contact plate. Then the plastic housing will come off.
You will have to take off the lower dash panel to get to the connectors.

It is not difficult at all. You can try it yourself without risking too hit anything in your garage... Remove the lower dash panel, remove the airbag, remove the steering wheel and take off the steering column switch! Benzmac, You probably will have to take off the air bag, steering wheel and contact plate Why did you include the word probably? There is no way to change the switch without removing these parts... greetingz,
