Fuel Pump Relay

I have a 1987 19e 16V grey market.

According to my indi, the fuel pump went out. Not bad by it's self but apparently it decided to take out the relay as well. According to Phill, it's in Europe and will take 2-3 weeks. I reqally cannot be with out the car for that long.

The part number is

002-545-23-05 (orig #)
003-545-22-05 (new #)

If anyone has some ideas as to how I can get one quicker, plz let me know.

Thanks

David

You can use ANY 4 cylinder fuel pump relay THE ONLY difference is when the RPM limit happens...your car has the highest RPM limit...

AS far as that goes you could use a jumper to the fuel pump as a temporary fix.

If you are going to have to order one I would see about getting the Euro version of your FPR..has an ever higher limit then it's US counterpart.

My Indy is da' man. He was able to take the ld relay apart, solder some loose conections and it is working fine. All he had to replace was the fuel pump and the filter. I really do love that man.
