Does anyone out there know if the 92 500E and the 94 E500 have the same computer. I have an opportunity to trade a Renntech chip from a 94 into my 92 but do not know if it is compatable.
Any help. ?.

The 92 ECU is different from the 93-94, so using a chip designed for the 94 in a 92 ECU, is not going to work correctly. You can of course, swap the entire ECU, but you will lose the WOT enrichment of the 92 ecu (lose 7 hp)
