Thumbs up 1993 400e- 178000 Miles,can I Change From Reg. Oil To Synthetic ?

Hello out there. I was wondering if i can change from regular oil to synthetic oil with high mileage of 178,000 on my 1993 400e v-8 ? Please advise. thanks, deano.

yes, but why would you do that?
178,000mi with non-synthetic oil is not a very bad record.
Do you really think synthetic oil will turn the speedometer back?
I'd rather have my engine dipping in fresh mineral oil than with 8,000mi old synthetic.
