An Assortment of W124 Electrical Issues:
I just picked up an '86 300E with a few issues. All of them at this point are electrical in nature. Automotive electrons and I tend not to be great with each other, but I do know that the fuses are good.
Thanks for your responses! |

If trhe fuses and bulbs are good, chances are the control module in the fuse box has failed. It is the longest unit in the fuse box.
The sliding tilting sun roof is not something easily diagnosed without seeing it. The dash lights could be the dimming rheostat on the instrument cluster.

Yeh, I guess fuses could be an issue. For as well designed as most european products are, they let the world down in the fuse department. You couldn't come up with a worse design.
