How to tighten the rear view mirror? W124

My rear view mirror is real loose, but I don't see any way to tighten it . What I need is something that is "anti-oil". Or if anyone knows how else to tighten it, let me know.

It's broke and you need a new one.

Mine broke also. I stuck a dollar biil folded up in the slot and it works perfect. Hope yours was the same problem, as was a easy and cheap ($1) fix. Make sure no one can see it through the windshield!

we were fortunate to find a member who sent us one for 25 dollars shipped... the other frame just disintegrated....

1 minute out... and 1 minute in.... we tried some other fixes..but this was quick and dirty..

The $1 bill

Well, the $1 bill trick sounds cheaper than a $25 new mirror. I'm gonna try some rubber cement or something. It's not totally loose, but should be tighter.

Thanks!
