I am going to install a new vac modulator in my 1990 190E 2.6 auto trans. New part arrived and included instructions that worried me. " Modulator must be adjusted as per Maintainence Manual to avoid damage to engine and or transmission." I don't have the "Maintenance Manual". What does it say! I am installing this to try to clean up a trans shift problem and the old modulator is cracked and leaking. What is the proper method to install and do the initial adjustments on it before the test drive?
