I had nothing wrong with my O2 sensor... the fuel/air mixture just needed to be tweaked... cost me 84.00 with an oil change.
My car will always go to Sig, he's been around forever... he even has an old 300SL sitting behind his "desk" in the shop... too awesome!

This was on my list of things to discover... a shop that could work on "vintage" mercedes. I'm also pursuing the "special purpose" registration because this car ideally will be restored and not driven much. I need to ID an organization that can "sanction" my car as "collectible" to pursue this further.
If the new exhaust, injector seals and a valve adjustment (coupled with a can of 'guaranteed to pass') dont do the trick... I guess I'm on my way to Sig's shop.
