300CE Engine rebuild site?

Greetings,

Anyone know of any site that goes into depth by showing a 6 cylinder engine from a 300E being rebuilt? I may have access to two such engines and was considering building one. In order to do this I'll need to learn all I can. Years ago I assisted in the building of a 300D engine that was transplanted into a custom Series 2a 109" Land Rover. That was a great project. My friends did a number of them actually. Is there any info online about doing up one of the gas 300E engines the right way for my CE model? Also, any info on transmissions? Both in the car I just bought are fine however and it might not be worth the money and effort needed to apply to the current motor. My wife's uncle happens to have two 300CE motors in storage and if I were to buy one and sort it out correctly it might be worth the investment. Plus, I can do it over time while still driving the 300CE.

Thanks for any and all input.

Jason in Los Angeles with my "new" Midnite Blue 300CE
