Dear All,

I have a Clk230K Coupe with Automatic Air Conditioning, which has stopped functioning.
Symptoms:
When one starts the car, turns on the A/C unit nothing happens. Set the module to "LO" and still nothing then cold air may come from the central vents for a while then switch off.
It does not make any difference on what setting the module, may work for a while then swithes off.
I have opned the bonnet and noticed
1) Sometimes the A/C compressor is not rotating
2) Sometimes the two small fans right at the front are not rotating
3) Sometimes neither of them are rotating

I have had the whole system checked for leaks and re-gased to no avail.

I hope someone can advise me as to the possible cause and solution.
