Question on 1986 230e power windows

First up,let me say what a great site you have here. Very informative. If someone could assist me that would be great.

I have a small problem with my W124 series. It's a 1986 230e and the fuse for the power windows keep blowing. It's the G fuse on the right hand side of the fuse box and controls the front passenger window and right rear. I tried replacing it but it just continues to blow.

When I purchased the car 8 years ago the previous owner had the same thing happen. His mechanic went and replaced both power window actuators, telling him that both motors had blown at the same time (I kid you not)

Does anyone have any thoughts on what may be causing this?
