Can't find an adapter from hose to accumulator...
Hey everyone,
So, I need to put new accumulators on the car (91 560SEL). I had cheaped out and bought crappy ones which didn't last. For the life of me, the adapter that goes from the accumulator to the hose will not come out of the old accumulators, and one of them is so stripped that nothing is going to grab onto it now. I thought, no big deal, I'll just get new ones from the dealer, but they can't get them anymore, for whatever reason. Anyone have any idea where to try and get these? It's a male-to-male connection, 10mm, I think. Seems like it shouldn't be that hard, but when I look at metric pipe fittings on the net, I don't see anything that looks like it will work. I can't be the only person who has run into this. Ideas anyone? Thanks, Craig
