How many electric motors in a W140?

I counted 42 on a 1992 400SE. (I may have missed some).

ABS (1)
Antenna (1)
Auxilliary fan (2)
Blower (2)
Camshaft timing (2)
Closing assist vacuum (1)
Coolant circulation pump (1)
Door locks vacuum (1)
Door mirrors (4)
Door mirrors parking (2)
Fuel pump (2)
Headlamp washers (2)
Rearview mirror (2)
Reversing guides (2)
Seat adjustment (8)
Starter (1)
Steering wheel adjust (1)
Sunroof (1)
Window lifter (4)
Windshield washer (1)
Wiper (1)

By comparison, a typical mid 1970s car would have about four motors. Eight if it had power windows.

How many motors does a W220 have?

If the car comes with the following options: Add...

Rear Electric Bench Seat +2
Rear Electric Bucket Seats +4
Rear Central Armrest Fridge +2
Rear Trunk Fridge +3
Trunk mounted CD changer +1
Trunk mounted Navigation unit +1
Dash mounted Cassette Player +2
Dash mounted Navigation Screem +1
Central Rearview Mirror (1991-1994) +1
Rear Window Electric sunscreem or curtains +1

Some options mentioned above exclude one another when fitted, but if we take a fully loaded W140, you may count up to 55 electric motors according to your calculations.

Aren't there 5 per front seat - front height, rear height, fore-aft, recline, headrest?

Blower has 2 motors?

Don't some models have electric rear headrests?

How about headlight wipers?

Is cruise control electric or vacuum?

Steering tilt and telescope share a motor?

Stepper motor for gasser idle control or idle control servo on Diesels.

Hmmm,

What would be more interesting is how many miles of wiring it has. All the windings to all those motors plus the wiring loom within the car. Thats a lot of copper.
