116 280SE power steering belt replacement

Hello, I want to replace the power steering V-belt on my 280SE (M110), as it has some cracks showing between the ribs. Never done an accessory belt before so was wandering what the procedure is for replacement...

Also, does anyone know what size belt this is?

cheers.

Loosen the pivot bolt. Then loosen the nut on the back of the adjuster bolt. The front of the adjuster bolt has a star-type fitting that causes the pump to move in or out as you turn the bolt. Be sure to keep this bolt all the way in so as to not strip the points off whilst turning. When there is enough slack, remove the belt and install the new one. Tighten the belt by reversing the turn on the adjuster. Hold it tight and tighten the adjuster nut. Tighten the nut on the pivot bolt.

If the star-type fitting is stripped, I would recommend getting a new one before starting this procedure.
