83 380 SEL Door Vacuum Lines

In chasing down PO's wonderfull !@!$!#!:
Driver's door does not have a vacuum line in the door and needless to say, a vacuum line is NOT connected to the lock. Acording to the CD manual, there is a three way vacuum connector under driver's floor mat connectiing vacuum to the pass. ft. door and driver's side rear door.
?Is this connector under the center of floor, black plastic air duct? If not, where? Often illistrations in manuals are rather creative.
10 extra points for naming the PO in TX.

Disclaimer: Dear officials, I do not intend to do any harm or hire any one to harm anyone who may have previously owned a car now owned by me ... but I do have a very large and hungry dog & if that is not enough there's the old lady!

May you go to heaven and watch PO's drive Russian 2 cycle things that look like cars.

The 1983 126 body vehicles do not have a vacuum connection to the driver's lock, they are electrical only because the only door that controls the vacuum pump is the driver's door. All of the other doors have vacuum connections to them. The CD correctly describes the location of the vacuum connections if you are looking at the proper year. Mark

My CD for the proper year, etc. has electrical and vacuum line from the driver's door, dashed and solid lines in the illustration.
What made me question this is the driver's door lock has a nipple for a vacuum line.
Thanks for the info.

I was mistaken. I ran across this issue not too long ago with my own car. The CD does not show the earlier system (the one you have) but the paper manual does. If the driver's door has a vacuum nipple somebody used the incorrect replacement part. I do not know if this version of the switch will work correctly. Mark

Thanks Hooked.
My CD has the 86 560 SEL having vacuum and electric lines in the drivers door. Also this CD states the drivers and pass. door on 83-86 126's have electric switches.
Maybe we should start a sticky on CD manual glitches. I know I could write many pages on Haynes manuals.
Back to the car: Dirver's door switch does pooerate the vacuum pump. After testing all the lines and replacing a few connectors, the problem is in the vacuum pump. Vacuum pump / air pump will not toggle from one to the other and is locked in between air and vacuum mode.
