Testing Fuel Pressure
Can anyone offer advice on checking fuel pressure on my '92 201 with 102 engine?

Having the correct adapters & a guage that can read 100PSI is critical..also gas is flammable! Make sure that you have checked for leaks before starting engine.
You need to check "system" pressure..about 82-90psi & control pressure..about 7psi less than system pressure.

I assume system pressure is the pressure supplied by the pump, and control pressure is what's downstream of the regulator? Again, thanks. Jeff Pierce

System pressure is measured at the TOP of the fuel distributor..at the fitting that goes to the cold start injector.
The control pressure is measured at the lower section of the fuel distributor..removal of a 12mm plug & installing a fiting is required to check that lower chamber pressure...that pressure is controlled by the EHA EHA= electro-hydraulic actuator.
