W124 sputtering.....
While I go search the archives, I am posting a question for help....
subject: '95 E320 mileage: 128K Looking at the records, I didn't do the 120K service which includes replacement of fuel filter, I think.... so I am hoping that is all I need. Car just came back from an 800+ mile road trip, was running fine....up to today, I put gas at BJ's (like sam's or costco) and I had a little hesitation starting, then next stop same thing, I gave it a little gas (which I never need to do) and it started, then it started sputtering while driving (didn't shut off, but was running rough....), even my kids noticed ![]() ![]() I am hoping its just the fuel filter,,,,,, any thoughts / ideas? I haven't had a running / starting issue for almost a year ![]() I keep stalling getting AAA, but I need to drop it off at the shop tommorrow. I don't think (as usual) I have the luxury or time to just let it sit while i troubleshoot it ![]()

Plugged fuel filter (likely if you got dirty fuel), bad fuel pump relay, bad fuel pump, or most likely, leaking air somewhere in the injection system (KE-Jet? -- if so, boot between air flow horn and throttle body, idle control valve hoses, injector seals. LH-Jet, getting air in between the mass flow meter and the intake valve, not familar with it so can't give specifics).
