107 fog lamps

I just purchased a 1975 450SL. The manual does not tell me where the switch to the fog lamps is. Can anyone fill me in? Thanks.

Pull the headlight knob out.

You should get a service manual for this car ASAP. You will not enjoy it without one.

To operate the fog lights on all MBs that I've owned all you have to do is turn on the lights and pull out (toward you) on the light switch. Don't know if it's different on your model or not.

Fog Lights

On my SL, they only work on low beam.

They only work on low beam on all models. TIP: If I had a 107 chassis and didn't live in a foggy area, I'd remove the lights (two 10mm bolts on each), and tape the wires back. The whole car is made out of plastic except for the fog lights that are down low and made out of glass. They are a little pricey and get smacked all the time. Trust me. The car looks better without the loights than it does with them smashed.
