Help locating cap for water pump

I just finished installing my new water pump (mb#104-200-33-01-88) when I realized there is an extra port for a water line that my 1995 C280 does not use. The port has two threads for 2 screws (one on each side) of the hole and an o-ring. I need a cap or some way to close this port. The attached picture shows an aftermarket pump that already sealed the area I am talking about (the arrows point to the port). I don't have the original water pump so no luck pulling it from there, but I don't even think there was a cap with screws on the original pump. Need help fast as I just need to plug this port.
Thanks, CypressKB@yahoo.com

Help locating plug for water pump

I found a picture of what I need and Meyle seems to package it along with their water pump as a "adapter kit". The metal plate with 2 screws in the lower right of the picture is what I need (or something like it). If anyone knows where I can get this or a part # please let me know asap. Car is undriveable until I get this.
Thanks, CypressKB@yahoo.com

No idea where to find the adapter, I'd be tempted to just make one. Best course of action (other than the fact your car is down for the count) is to get the correct pump, looks like the pump in your picture. You can tell that the pump "can" be made for the coolant line, but the hole and threaded holes aren't machined out.

you may also be able to tap it and install a threaded plug. if you do this you will need to be very careful not to extend it much inside the casting or it will impede coolant flow.

this is probably a job i would take to my favorite machinist.

Problem solved with help from Phil

Well Phil from MercedesShop helped me again. I sent him the pic from the Meyle catalog and we found that Laso also includes these adapter kits (plate with 2 screws) with their water pumps. Laso is a superior pump to Meyle and so the search was over. Order it next day from Phil, got it today and had the car on the road in 10 minutes.
