W201 Questions

I'm looking to buy a 190E. I found one locally and was looking for some opinions. This board has been good to me so I figured I'd tap into your vast knownledge.

I went to look at one I found today on craigslist. It is a 1989 2.6 automatic. Its grey with a burgandy interior. It looks fairly good, with the dents and dings to be expected for a car of its age. It has 149K miles on it. It drives well, the a/c works, and it has no leaks. it has new tires and a new exhaust.

Here are the issues:

The rear windows don't work

The heated seats don't work

The blower motor bearing sounds like it is starting to go

The trunk does not lock. Also, when we opened it, there seemed to be water in the lid, but no apparent rust.

The passenger side fender was dented in the front and was rubbing on the wheel when he was sitting in the passenger seat. When he wasn't there it was fine and It seemed like an easy dent to pull.

The dash seemed questionsable. The button next to the antenna was pushed through the dash and there were cracks around the cluster that lead me to believe it might have been replaced. I ran a car fax, and it seems clean, but I have my doubts.

The guy is your typical car sales guy, so I didn't take anything he said worth a grain of salt. He is in leasing and the car was bought at an auction in July per the carfax. I did not trust a word this guy said, but the car overall looked and drove well. He is asking $1650, which is blue book on the car in good condition.

What are you opinions internet? I am looking for a daily driver and this seems like it could fit the bill. My main concern is the cluster being replaced and the blower mower. I have average DIY skill, but if the blower is anything like my W115, I'll take a pass.
