Car is 89 300SEL 179000kms. The pulley on the power steering was making noise like the bearing is on its way. I did spray a little WD40 and the noise is gone for a couple of days.
Is this the sign of the bearing in the power steering going bad. Is the bearing available seperate. Has anyone seen this. Thanks

Pulley Noise
Have had exactly this on a Benz and all it took was some belt dressing. Correct tension is important too. The spray you put on probably helped a bit but a lubricant is not what you want. You are very likely dealing with pulleys and vee-velt that have a high polish and glaze.
