You know, I did look at the vin# of the car to check the series, but discounted it as a stupid idea. Silly me.
Good to know you can get the other stripping as well. I'll keep it in mind when I'm ready to replace that dryrot as well.
Along those same lines, both of my door's weather stripping is deteriorated in just 1 spot on both sides. If you follow the verticle seam up, and around the top for a few inches, there is a spot where it looks like a peice of on both sides is a filler. Hard to explain, but almost like when you install the stripping, both strips meet at this one spot and where the two peices meet (the verticle and horrizontal peice that runs across the top of the door) there is a little pop in peice that meets the gap. Well that has degraded on both sides. I wish I could just replace that one part... but alas, Crown Mercedes told me I had to do the whole peice of door seal!
