Which years of 300TE have Self Levelling Rear Suspension ??

Currently have an 88 300E and am pondering the pursuit of a non-4MaticTE,
but the Self Leveling rear suspension does not appeal.
Are there any years that it is an option or not equipped on the TE ?
Any comments / advice would be appreciated....George
