Can't find CPS on 1987 300E...Help

I posted eariler on a stall and won't start problem on my 1987 300E, m103 engine. I purchase a crank position sensor and took the car to a garage to have it installed. I went to pick it up and they told me they can't find where it goes, I looked also and can't find it. Can anyone tell me where it is located on my car? I saw a metal pipe going to the bellhousing, is it inside that pipe? Also where does the other end plug into? I have read post saying ignition module but don't know where that's at either. Thanks for any assistance. Steve

Ooooo, I could be wrong but I think this just has a TDC sensor, on the front of the engine, runs off the harmonic balancer.
