The 300E-24, 300CE-24, 320E, 320CE and E320 (sedan, coupe and cabriolet) were all sold in Australia and had larger brakes front and rear compared with those on the 300E and 300CE. If I recall correctly, these M104 powered models had the same front brakes as the (left-hand-drive only - hence not sold in Oz) 400E and E420. The rear brakes on the M104 powered models were also the same diameter as those on the 400E and E420 and I believe only differed in that they were not ventilated rotors.

I want to upgrade the brakes on my 300TE, I've studied GSXR's chart and it would seem the R129 4 pot calipers from a sl500 or sl320 with rotors would be the ideal choice.

Was this model sold in Australia, and will the brakes fit inside the 15" wheels?

And are only the ATE calipers used on the 300mm rotors or can the brembo calipers be used as well.
Thanks,
Grant.
