I have recently purchased a 1984 230e and I have noticed a very strang thing with the cruise control. When it is engaged it works fine until I use the turn indicator. When the indicator comes on to change lanes the cruise starts to pulsate in time with the turn signal light. I get a lurching effect that kind of freaks me out. The cruise stays on and returns to normal once the signal is off. Can anyone give me any clues as to why this might be happening?
Thanks, ps: I think this site is great. |

The turn signal flasher unit is ELECTRONIC & can cause feed back into the cruise control ECU (computer). ONE of the 2 computers isn't shielded properly.
