ASR and brakefluid leakage.

I have a 90 - 300TE (Live in Norway. I know ASR was not common in the US before 91 )

I have 2 problems.

1. Brakefluid leakage.
The brakefluid dissapears from the front part of the brakefluid reservoir. I do not have a sinking brakepedal. I cannot find any obvious leakage points. The brakelines to the rear was changed appr. a year ago.
I fear leakage in the ABS/ASR pressure unit. Cost appr. 5500 USD in northern europe. Unfortunatly that area is soaked with oil from a blown gasket in the powersteering-pump. Parts to powersteering is on its way.

2. ASR shuts down.
The last few weeks the ASR has shut down on almost every tour. Very tricky when it's cold and slippery, and my better half drives the car.. (does not say she is a lousy driver, she just don't have experience enough.)
The acceleratorpedal still works as normal.

ABS is still working.

Could these 2 problems be related? Could air in the system cause ASR to be shut down?

Any other places to look? how about the accumulator inside left fender?
