W202 headlamp adjuster failed

My c200A 2000 (202) headlamp adjustor stopped working. I believe it uses a vacumn system of some sort. I can see the purple cables in the engine bay leading into the lamps.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Matt

It is a vacuum problem. Check all the connectors.

If we are talking about self-leveling headlights, isn't there also some sort of sensor that determines the level of the car? I believe it is located on the rear suspension? It might be something you want to check, too.
