Here's the dilemma. The Eibach springs I am trying to install in the rear of my 1999 W210 car are so tightly wound that I can't insert the tool far enough up. So, I can't compress the spring adequately (BAUM) to get the darned thing installed.
Eibach rear: ![]() plate in place. That's the highest it can be positioned before it jams: ![]() I hear some folks mention they disassemble rear suspension components and permit the control arm to swing down. I am not sure if this is an option or how invasive it might be. Thanks for any suggestions Signed, Frustrated ![]()
