Cruise Control Coding Unit

Hi, I'am fitting a cruise system from a 1991 300E auto to my 91 190E 2.6 manual and the EPC lists a different coding plug for the manual car. Does anyone know what effect the different plug would have in a manual car, I realise that the clutch switch will have to be added etc.
