smog kind of question???
Hey guys sorry about another post Im at work and have a bunch of time, so Im posting this stuff.
I checked on a car and the guy told me he has problems getting his mercedes to pass smog because of the 92-95 electronic stability control causes problems? NOw im pretty sure that has nothing to do with emissions but how is it that it makes it difficult to pass smog being the esc button?? ANy ideas. |

In smog check II areas of California the car is subject to a dyno test with the driven wheels on rollers unless the car has AWD/4WD which cannot be disabled or some sort of system like traction control that kicks into action if some wheels aren't turning as fast as the others.
This is not a new situation. If this is a car you're buying, have the seller take it to a shop that knows how to perform the inspection. Sixto 93 300SD |

Thats exactly what my friend was telling me he thought it was. Yea the guy said he knows a place that will do it with no problem. I was just checking to make sure this wasnt a scam or something I should be worried about down the road?
Thanks a bunch. |
