pulled over at a gas stop to pump gas.. only to realize that i could not open my gas lid. when i unlock the car, all locks open except for the gas lid cover. is this a vacumn problem? the small pin that holds the lid locked isn't being released. i have a 94 E420.

I am assuming you knew this and filled up... but, just in case, There is an emergency release in case the door filler cover does not open. It is behind the paneling in the trunk.
