valve adjustment???
I might be wrong but in 5 years I have never adjusted valves on any gas except for v8's (after a valve job). Only diesel require valve adjustments every 15k miles.

In other words the valves are not adjustable because the car has hydrolic lifters which automatically compensates and lifts the valves to proper height.
But as Gilly mentions below... your car is an exception to the rule. Smiles. [Edited by ejsharp on 04-29-2001 at 01:24 AM]

The 2.3-16 is adjustable, supposed to be checked every 15K miles. Not a big deal to check, fairly big deal to adjust, cam or cams have to come out. This is a shim over bucket arrangement. i could get a time from the MB labor time guide Monday or so.......Gilly
