I am looking for a new oil sending line for my rebuilt 300D engine. The tech that has the car is not really familiar with the car but doesn't trust the compression fitting that someone had put on the old one. It leaks and he is afraid it might simply let go altogether and there could be a meltdown. I can't find it in the Impco catalog and didn't get a response from the MercedesShop parts people.
Is this a hard thing to find? Does anyone know who might handle a part like this? There is no dealer handy so it would help if I could find such a part online or by phone. This line appartently begins at the bottom of the filter housing and goes through the firewall and connects directly to the oil pressure gauge. It seems straight forward enough but I am having a difficult time finding one. Thanks for any information anyone might have. |

If you haven’t received a response try contacting bill@peachparts.com or benz9@pacbell.net
Bill is the webmaster of this site pand benz9 is – one of, or the only parts researcher used at this site. Hope this helps! Good luck …Tracy |

What year and chassis type 300D? Maybe I can come up with a part number, but you're probably going to have to go to the dealer for this one. Not a real popular item.
