The trunk lid on my 300D closes slightly unevenly. The car has not been in any accidents and the body is straight. The trunk lid was once removed for the installation of the filler panel. The left side of the trunk lid sits ever so slightly above the sill while the right side of the trunk lid sits ever so slightly below the sill. The trunk lid appears *slightly* askew when looking from the back (at least if you are as anal as me, otherwise you won't notice).

Is there a way to adjust the hinges? I'm pretty sure that the lid was simply reinstalled incorrectly.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Ahh, this is precision body work. The pitch of the panel can be slightly adjusted by the stop bumpers on the back edge of the panel. Fore and aft can be accomplished with hinge bolts (holding sheet metal to the hinges.
