hello, probably redundant, but,

I own a 1986 300E benz, it was a pretty much free car.
I took it to pmc in phoenix and had them do a diagnostic on it because I did not feel comfy not knowing what was wrong with the car and taking it to half-behind mechanics so they could guess and i would end up throwing away money.
pmc gave me a list of things wrong and i noticed that the engine type they had listed was180.8 cid, i am confused because I thought the 300 E had a 103.xxx type engine.
why is there this difference in reference numbers for my car?
Irrelevant to this, I love the thing, it has enough pep to satisfy me, even thou it still looks better than ALL of the rice burners that could probably beat me in a 1/4 mi. haha
I don't have to go fast to get a great driving experience and love it!
