Question about interchangable parts for W126

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows if the passanger side mirror and the turn signal relay ever changed on the W126 chassis car throughout the production. I am wondering if the mirror and turn signal relay from a 83 300SD will work in an 87 420SEL.
