Actually the way to tell on 17 digit vin numbers (which started in 1980 fyi) is when the 4th thru 9th digits are all numbers and no letters. in this case it being 126032 is a 380se if it were American it would be letters mixed with numbers. Another way to tell is go to http://www.kellybluebook.com/carfax.html and type in the vin number and your zip code. If you get no results its because your car is "yes" a "Eurosled" as we call them in my business
