Any idea for rigging up flasher switch?
I have to drive from Portland to San Diego in a few days, and my 300TD (W123) has no emergency flasher or turn signals. No stores in the area can get the new flasher switch in before I depart, so I was wondering if anyone had a detailed explanation of how to possibly rig this damn thing up to get me home. I have read lots of posts about people having this problem, but the solution is always to buy a new switch or flasher relay. I just don't have the option, so I'd like to hear others.
Any ideas? |

Mike, just put a couple of spade terminals on a short wire of 16gor 14g wire and plug it in where the flasher goes. Then operate the turn signal lever on and off to produce the desired flash effect.
Hope this helps. Ron.
